The NEO-8M GPS Module is a compact, reliable Satellite Positioning Module ideal for Arduino, STM32, and embedded microcontroller projects. It supports the NMEA standard protocol and delivers accurate satellite data via serial communication using either a micro USB interface or a serial port interface.
This GPS Satellite Positioning Module comes with a built-in ceramic antenna, allowing direct satellite acquisition in open areas without needing an external antenna. For even better performance, it includes a welded SMA head, enabling the use of an active antenna SMA or passive antenna amplifier for enhanced satellite lock.
With USB to serial port modules, users can easily connect the module to an external MCU or Arduino STM32 microcontroller to retrieve NMEA sentences. It also features onboard FLASH memory to save settings after power-off—no external EEPROM required.
